Francisco Restrepo is a licensed speech-language pathologist and healthcare entrepreneur with nearly a decade of clinical experience specializing in adult neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders. Since entering the field, he has dedicated his career to medical speech-language pathology, treating patients in acute care hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities across New York and Miami.
As the founder of Advocacy Rehab Services, Francisco combines deep clinical expertise with the vision of a practice owner committed to raising the standard of post-acute care. He built Advocacy Rehab on a simple premise: that every patient deserves access to specialized, evidence-based speech therapy — delivered where they live and recover, not just where it's convenient for the provider.
His clinical expertise spans the evaluation and treatment of dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech, cognitive-communication disorders, and voice disorders resulting from stroke, traumatic brain injury, and progressive neurological conditions including Parkinson's disease, ALS, and dementia. He is experienced in tracheostomy and ventilator communication management, modified diet recommendations, and augmentative and alternative communication systems.
Francisco's approach is patient-centered, evidence-based, and built on collaboration. He works closely with physicians, nurses, dietitians, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care — bringing hospital-level clinical knowledge directly to the home health and skilled nursing settings where his patients need it most.
